How long will it take to complete a valuation ?

_Game_Farm_kudu_It depends on the complexity and the purpose of the valuation. Generally it will take from 2 – 10 working days, depending on the availability of the information needed to do the specific valuation.

Are you registered valuers and is there a body which governs the valuation profession ?

I am registered both at the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession as well as with the South African Institute of Valuers. I adhere to the professional regulations and code of conduct of the Property Valuers Profession.

In which areas do you do valuations ?

I am based in Bela-Bela ( Warmbaths ). I do valuations in the Limpopo, North West, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal provinces.

Do you only do farm valuations ?

I specialize in farm valuations, farm valuations where the farm is identified by the state for land reform purposes, servitude valuations (ESKOM, pipe-lines and road servitudes).

I also specialize in commercial property, business/shares valuations and insurance valuations.

Can you help me to negotiate with the state to determine the compensation amount, when my farm is identified for expropriation / land reform purposes ?

After I did the professional valuation of your farm I can assist you, as an additional service, during the negotiation process with the state. I did additional training in negotiation skills.

What is included in the valuation report you receive ?

I provide a comprehensive ( fully motivated ) valuation report where the valuation of the property is substantiated with a full motivation thereof. It includes title deed information, a description of improvements as well as relevant agricultural economic factors.
